Our family has made a practice of coming up with 10 things we are grateful for (most mornings) at the breakfast table. My husband calls this "exercising our grateful muscles" - I love that :).
This is a way for you, if you are like me and don't really like to write about deep thoughts, to keep a journal of the things in our lives that we are thankful for day to day. For example, I'm reminded of how grateful I was to learn that our friends who were in Boston for the marathon were safe. And when the big kids ran into Mr Hinsey (the kids kindergarten teacher) and how grateful they were to see him - he is the BEST! Or when I was sick with a cold and my Mom watched our toddler so I could go back to bed.
Nothing earth shattering, just the "real stuff" from our lives and the little things that we're grateful for.
I hope this encourages and blesses you today.
I am grateful for You, I'm grateful that you hang out with me and my friends here on fb, and I look forward to your "grateful for" stories.
Please share them on fb - it will bless us all.
