My friend's daughter Ali recently ran her last Cross Country race of the season. They were short handed on the Girls "A" race, so as a 6th grader, she was asked to run with the 7th & 8th grade Girls. She didn't win, and even though she ran great, she didn't even place very well. She did however learn something about herself that she'll remember for the rest of her life.
When Ali thought she'd given everything, she still had more to give.
