Our new Long-Haired Dachshunds have the best personality of being stubborn and sweet at the same time. They are great companions for my kids and the Long-haired Dachshunds do better in the cold (but are more high maintenance in the grooming area). I wear my Bolder Band Colder Band in Houndstooth (of course) when I walk them! We adopted our dogs from a woman who was not home much during the day. We are so grateful for her sharing them with us. Check your local rescue centers.
