Baby Steps

by Amy Crouse November 18, 2013

I am so patient with my kids when they try something new. I instruct them to “at least try”; To not give up and to expect a set back or two, or five, before they will succeed.

But I often back out of trying something new physically because I just assume I can’t. I know I can’t run a half marathon if I don’t take a walk around the block. I can’t do 100 crunches if I don’t try one sit-up. I can’t eat healthier unless I actually buy the vegetables. One BOLDER step first. And then two.  And then the possibilities are endless.
